Do angels smell? What kind of a smell is it? Incense from a catholic church? Is the smell of heaven similar to how the ocean smells? What about fallen angels? To answer these questions I’ve bought a ticket to paradise and the second one to hell to compare the scents of angels with that of fallen angels. As you know angels are not men or women, they’re hermaphrodites, most of them are bisexual.
First of all let’s describe the scent itself. “It is a combination of vanilla, chocolate, honey and caramel” says di Angelo. It consists of: “Alcohol Denat, Perfume, Aqua, Benzophenone 2, CI 60725, CI 42090″ says Amazon Angel. This is worth analyzing more closely. “Alcohol Denat” is a code. In some Eastern European languages it means literally “dead by alcohol” which points out that this is a scent for fallen angels, not for these sitting on the right side of God. “Perfume and Aqua” is another kind of mystical information about this scent. Taking literally it’s a pure nonsense (perfume is made of perfume, sun is made of sun) so we have to interpret it as a metaphor. What kind of aqua? Of course saint aqua, aqua from the springs of Jordan, and the same water which John the Baptist used to baptize Jesus. What are “CI 60725 and CI 42090″? Once again this information is not for normal people, it’s a code. They are numbers assigned to young lovers, a young Jewish boy and a young Palestinian girl who have fallen in love against the will of their parents. Not to obey the parents will is considered a mortal sin in some circles, so they were both sent to hell, and fallen angels usually use numbers for people. Then a scent was made from their ashes. As you probably know, to divulge this information is to risk my life, because we live somewhere between heaven and hell and there are a lot of people who don’t like to take things seriously, they may think it’s all some kind of joke, and jokes are forbidden in some countries.
Continuing my investigation, I went straight to Thierry Mugler to see and read what they say about Angel Perfume ingredients. They have an amazing flash website which doesn’t function, or perhaps that’s the point. Here’s what happens: after clicking the Angel subpage, you’re redirected to a black screen “loading… loading…” and you never get any information, real hell.
Angel of Amazon describes the smell of Angel Bath and Body Collection as follows: “red berries, dewberry, honey, patchouli, vanilla, coumarine, chocolate, and caramel”. Angel Joanna McLaughlin in her very nice article about secrets of perfume ingredients mentions the best-known patchouli scent on the market: Thierry Mugler’s Angel. The unknown Angel from another website enumerates official ingredients of Angel Perfume: vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli and a couple of fruity notes like peaches, melons, plums and citrus.
Let’s summarize. What information have we obtained about Angel Perfume? The scent contains: vanilla, chocolate, honey, caramel, red berries, dewberry, patchouli, coumarine, sandalwood, peaches, melons, plums and citrus. I believe if I would continue my research for ten minutes more I would find also: rose, musk, orange, opium and orchid. Angels smell of anything, or everything. It makes sense: angels live in the imagination, so do their scents. But what people say about the angelic fragrance is what makes it real, and perhaps wearing the perfume as well. But let’s look at what some people have to say. I quote:
- “Especially this angel perfume is made for trendy and fashionable women. The woman who uses this perfume enjoys its vivacious fragrance and the feeling of happiness. This perfume is really vivid and radiant. It gives the feeling of tranquil warmness because its fragrance comes with a blend of floral.”
- “The only negative review that you will hear is made by men and the complaint is that women wear it too much.”
- “Angel Perfume is made with the same ingredients found in pesticides and chemicals that attack the eyes, skin, central and peripheral nervous systems, respiratory, hepatic, hematological and reproductive systems, resulting in anemia, ophthalmic and nasal irritation, lassitude, narcosis, lethargy, teratogenic effects along with damage to the DNA of sperm in adult males.”
I could continue offering more angelic perfume quotes, but I have a wife, children, and a grand-mother to care for, and since I live in Transylvania this is not very easy to do, so the rest will remain angelic silence of the lambs. Just one last thing…
What do wholesale perfume, euphoria perfume, eternity perfume and Sarah Jessica Parker perfume have in common?
Find out in the next episode of my posts. But, to whet your appetite, let me tell you that it will deal with quotes and fun anecdotes as well as lists of ingredients found in popular wholesale perfume collections. I’m also going to offer my investigative findings on just what makes euphoria perfume euphoric, which goes well with angelic scents. I’ve also chosen to analyze eternity perfume because Eternity is in keeping with the length of time one spends in either heaven or hell and therefore goes well with angels and demons and paradise and perdition, all very exotic fragrances. Lastly, I’ll touch on the Sarah Jessica Parker perfume collections, because….who can resist knowing what the hottest Sex and the City ladies smell like.
